About the club
welcome to the westside!
Westside Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) is a not-for-profit organization in British Columbia that is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of soccer within the community. As one of the Okanagan's largest youth sports organizations, WYSA provides youth soccer to a diverse group of 1,000 youth players through its GRASSROOTS and SURF selects soccer programs.
OUR TEAMS
We offer GRASSROOTS (recreational) soccer and the SURF selects program at various age groups:
* We have introductory skill and soccer programming from U4 meant to create an interest and love for the game
* Our GRASSROOTS program is the heartbeat of our club, and we offer this for the U6-U18 age groups
* The SURF ACADEMY program is for the U6-U14 age groups that are seeking a higher level of skill development
* Our SURF DEVELOPMENT team program is for the U10-U11 age groups.
* Our SURF SELECTS team program is for the U12-U16 age groups.
All programs run year-round with the state of the art West Kelowna Multi Sport dome as our winter home!

Sun-soaked lakeshores, agricultural charm, and access to urban jobs and living have made West Kelowna the place to be. We maintain a deep connection with our agricultural roots and we celebrate the one-of-a-kind character of our community.
WYSA has access to premium grass soccer fields and the best indoor soccer dome in the Okanagan.

WYSA is excited to introduce its 2025-2027 Strategic Plan, recently approved by the Board of Directors.
This document will hold staff and board accountable to benchmarks and goals that will ensure the club's stability and growth into the future.
